This is our new recipe, inspired by Japan's recent trend: Matcha Affogato. An affogato is an Italian coffee-based dessert. It usually takes the form of a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream topped with a shot of hot espresso. The latest Japan's trend is to use Matcha instead of coffee. Matcha espresso instead of café espresso. Enjoy the great combination of vanilla ice cream and Matcha sauce!

Vanilla ice cream 100g
Matcha 1 tablespoon
Hot water 20ml
1. Place 1 tablespoon of Matcha into a cup.
2. Pour 20ml of hot water (90ºC) into the cup and beat with a bamboo whisk (or mini capuchino mixer). If you like sweeter Matcha sauce, add sugar here.
3. Serve a ball of vanilla ice cream and pour the Matcha sauce on the ice cream ball slowly.
4. Your Matcha Affogato is ready to enjoy!
